Mike,
I had Vetus ship a 5512 to Shipwright Harbor in Deale, MD, where my my Monk
36 was stored for the winter. I believe the bill to Vetus was a little over
$2000, and the bill to Shipwright was about $1500. The latter included the
fibreglass work to install the tube, installation of the motor and wiring,
and an 8D battery.
Another large, but nameless outfit, in Solomons, MD, wanted over $10,000 to
do a really, really nice installation of a more elaborate system.

... Does anyone know what it cost to purchase and
install a bow thruster? I think with my limited experience I would want at
least this option.
