I have set up a cooling fan that is wired into the small fan already on
my refrigerator (Tundra). It just goes on when the regular compressor
fan goes on.

Subject: TWL: thermostat controlled fan

I want to set up a muffin fan to help cool a refrigerator compressor,
and I would like to use a thermostat of some sort to switch it on
when the temperature inside the unit's cabinet reaches a
predetermined limit. I found a thermometer in Radio Shack's catalog
that sounded like just the thing, but they have been discontinued and
the "Ace Employee" at Radio Shack was far less than helpful in
finding a substitute. I'm sure there must be some fairly simple
solution to this. Can anyone help?

I could set this up as either 110 AC or 12 volt DC if one is an
advantage over the other.
