Subject: TWL: Another Trawler Newbie Needs Advice

Hi All,
We are considering our first trawler. We are looking at a '79 Marine
Trader 32. We have been told these boats may have laminated hulls made up
of a sandwich of fiberglass and plywood. Are there any MT 32 owners out
there who can verify or dispel this? We hoping the hulls are totally
fiberglass.
We have also heard many stories of leaking fuel tank problems and leaking
decks, etc. Any comments on this?
We know about the MTOA and will join if we settle on the Marine Trader
brand as the boat we wish to buy.
