Well John, there are some US manufacturers that do supply that kind of
information. My Hatteras LRC, even though over 20 years old, came with
two dozen wiring diagrams plus a manual that includes everything from
starting the engines to plumbing layouts, tankage and valve locations,
maintenance, serial numbers, suggested spare parts lists, bulb and fuse
sizes, etc etc. And the factory tech people are always responsive even
though they sold the boat 22 years ago. You can even inspect the boat
file itself which they keep in the cutsomer service department with its
history of ownership and manufacturing mods. And of course you can still
buy a replacement manual if you need one.
