Well, on the basis of my experiment (one case as well), I beg to differ. I
have a Standard Horizon Digital (mounted through the hull) and a Nexus
transducer, mounted in close proximity, in silicon. If both depthsounders
are on at the same time, they both yield wild readings. The Nexus tech
support person said something to the effect that "Of course you can't have
two transducers on the same frequency on the same boat".

I guess one's mileage may well vary.
