one (or a combo unit) in the engine room - it would have to fire off a
remote buzzer of course, otherwise nothing would be heard with the
engine noise.
I haven't seen this in a marine application, but I have a couple of
Ademco burgler alarm systems in some warehouse spaces and these have
wireless smoke and heat-rise alarms. These system normally runs off
110v, but have a battery backup. There is a wired Ademco carbon monoxide
alarm on EBay, not sure if there are wireless ones available (probably).
If you're also looking at burgler alarm (while at the dock, I suppose)
then this might be worth investigating. I'll also mention that it's
going to be damn near impossible to hook the thing up without a
professional installer.
