The Krogen 42 has been selected Trawler of the Year 2000 by members of
Trawler World List.
The Krogen 42 was also named Voyager of the Year in the category
comprising trawler yachts capable of passagemaking across oceans.
The Fleming 55 was named Cruiser of the Year in the category
encompassing trawler yachts ideally suited for coastal cruising, with
the Nordic Tug 32 as runner-up.
The best power voyagers available today, according to Trawler World
Listees, are

DeFever 49 Pilothouse
Willard 40 Pilothouse
Hatteras 42 LRC
Krogen 48 Whaleback
Krogen 48 North Sea.

Trawler World List has more than 800 subscribers around the world. In an
informal poll conducted during December, 137 or 17 per cent voted for
the trawler they consider the most excellent or outstanding or desirable
power cruiser or power voyager available today, new or used, production
or custom, large or small, expensive or low-budget.
If only voyagers in production are considered, the best are:

Krogen 48 Whaleback
Krogen 48 North Sea.
