My boat has two 120 volt 30 amp shore power cords. At the power outlet on
the dock the ground wires are connected together in the breaker panel. On
my AC breaker panel in the boat the shore power cable ground wires are
connected together to the single ground bus.

I installed one 30 amp galvanic isolator, instead of one for each power
cord. Is this proper? It seemed to me that two would simply be in
parallel. Also, it seemed that I would only need more than 30 amp capacity
in the very unlikely event that I had a short to ground in the boat on both
circuits simultaneously.

Comments? Did I make a mistake?
