A little caution here... using biodiesel may not be as simple as just
pumping it into the tank. Workboat Magazine just published an article
about the San Francisco's Blue and Gold ferry fleet's trial of
Biodiesel. While it was overall positive, they did make a couple of
comments about needing water injection to bring the pollution level down
to the claimed amount, and some incompatibility issues between the
biodiesel and the lube oils used. Still some issues to work out... I
wouldn't be the first on your block to use this stuff until the kinks
are worked out!
