It's not our fault.
There's a virus called Klez.G that picks up legitimate email adresses and uses them to send its own messages. It's the legitimate email address that allows it to get past some of the virus checkers.
It's a general and growing problem across the net, and several big corporate networks are currently under attack.
Prior to this, most of the messages were empty, but it appears to have stepped up its efforts, and is now attaching things.
I believe the source is from the net itself, so we shouldn't be looking for infecting culprits from within ourselves.
Be careful. Update your virus checkers and run them daily until the worst is past. Be especially careful if you use Microsoft Outlook or Internet Explorer, as they're famously vulnerable to virus attack.
