On my boat, I just split the GPS antenna output using a terminal strip.
The antenna hooks into one side, then I feed the laptop as well as the
VHF radio from the other side. I think Sonny down the pier holds the
record though, running about 50 different instrument from one GPS
antenna successfully. Ok, maybe 6...

If you want to spend more money, Captn Jacks has an optically isolated
NMEA expander for $159.95. Takes one input and turns it into four
separate outputs. PN EXP-14 or EXP-32. http://www.capjack.com. They also
have some other neat stuff for hooking up multiple monitors, laptops,
serial ports, etc.
