A great book, IMO, even though it might not have anything to do with your
desired cruising ground, is "The Gentleman's Guide to Passages South" by
Bruce Van Sant. I originally bought it to fantasize about exotic ports while
I huddled in front of my propane heater, but found his ideas on weather to
be quite fascinating. The guy really concentrates on how weather interacts
with the shoreline. Great reading!
