We have a similar HF problem. For months we would dash into the engineroom
because the engine fire alarm siren started beeping. Not constantly, just
enough to wake you. Turned out it was the ham a few boats down from us
transmitting and every time he transmitted it zapped the fire alarm.

When we installed our HF radio when checking into the boaters net or
wherever we just turn off the fire alarm (and the GPS) (and the autopilot)
and talk for a few minutes and then switch everything back on. That was the
simplest solution. Only does it when we are transmitting so no big deal.
