HiHo Listoids,

Just a reminder:

I used to keep careful track of unsnipped messages and regularly asked
people to change their ways. I don't do that any more. Now, I send out those
suggestions only when somebody complains to me about a specific post.

The process is very simple. When you see a message like the ones to which
Rich has referred just send me ( alexh@XXX.XXX ) a note about it and the
poster will get the following:
*********************************

One or more TWListees have requested that you include less quoted material
in your posts. The example cited is your recent post on the "" thread.

If you need help on the mechanics of snipping or advice as to what should be
snipped you'll find it at
http://www.samurai.com/lists/trawler-world-old/2001/12/1178.html .

If I can be of any further help please let me know.

Thanks

Advantages to this are that we get a targeted response, the complaint is
kept anonymous, and the process occurs OFF list.

End of sermon.
