Not so fast, Capt. Joe. I have a buddy here on the dock who was having
engine shutdown problems on his Islander sailboat. It was driving him crazy.
It had a Pathfinder diesel in it. I know this is not a popular engine but
it did find its way into Sundowner trawlers. He found that it was poor
wiring leading to the solenoid that was holding his fuel valve OPEN. Rewired
and solved the problem but still the same engineering.
Trawler on,
John
