In light of the many discussions we have had on Trawler World List
regarding synthetics and auxiliary filtering systems, it may interest you
to know that the circumnavigating Nordhavn 40 uses conventional oil and a
standard filter system.
Dan Streech, president of Pacific Asian Enterprises, builders of Nordhavn,
says PAE does so for reasons of convenience and practicality, and because
there is no real benefit of doing otherwise.
