No, Garrett you are not the only one who likes teak decks.
 
I think natural weathered teak is the best material available for decks -- It
is never slippery and adds strength and insulation as well as good looks.
I hope to replace my decks eventually but will, as you suggested, have the
teak glued down rather than screwed down.
