Dan, you got a screw loose!

In the cable connector that is. < grin>

Recommendation:
Tighten the connector clamping screw as tight as you can when first
assembling it. Fill the voids around the wires with NOALOX or similar
anti-corrosion compound specifically made for this sort of use.

Check your connections for tightness every few months. More often if you
frequently disconnect and reconnect.
