Is the sodium bicarbonate found in the typical BC fire
extinguisher suitable for nutralizing an acid spill? I have perhaps
10 oz of baking soda in the galley but my smallest fire extinguisher
has 5 lbs. of sodium bicarb. Arlid asked if it is safe to add an
water/bicarb mixture to an acid spill. Can it be applied directly
from a fire extinguisher?
