I've had good luck lining cabin overheads and hull sides with the foil
covered bubblewrap insulation available at Home Depot, et al. It seems
to cut down on the interior heat hitting cold hull which is where the
condensation is coming from. It also helps with heating and cooling the
boat. An even better idea is to also insulate with closed cell foam
panels, but this requires more clearance for its thickness and more bucks.
If you use the foil, it recommends sealing all air leaks and joints with
foil tape, and it says it is most effective when there is possibility of
air movement between the insulation and the hull. Doesn't have to be
much. Just don't glue the insulation to the hull.
