Rex you are absolutely correct. My apologies! to you, the list,
and to Robbie & Dolores.
I do not know of any specific problems with the Micro Commander product.
I happen to like that brand.
By way of explanation, what I was trying to get across is that in every
case that I know of an incident involving elecrtonic controls the root
cause was improper installation.
In other words ALL the different brands appear to work well - provided
the manufacturer's installation instructions are followed.
With respect to Glendinning, my reason for mentioning it is that it is
the only one that has provision for a cable backup.
I hope that clarified the matter.
