For day in day out voyaging, lunching underway and hiding from the heat you
can't beat a pilothouse or lower helm station. Flybridges are great for
visibility and just tooling around for the day with the wind in your hair. It
is nice to have both. If given a choice I would have opted for a pilothouse.
Heat and sun get to you just much as foul weather.
