For the past year Hot mail has a junk mail filter that sends bulk mail into
a separate folder to be automatically dispossed of in a week or two. You
still get advertisements offering "services," but far fewer than in the
past. They get your name by random selection and sheer chance. Eg.
they'll generate a mailing to all the Jims. Jim1@XXX.XXX
Crude but effective. Picking oddball names will often filter much of the
junk. Eg. gotterdammerung@XXX.XXX
