This is good news! I talked to a girl at the VDC office and
she had it backwards - she claimed it would trickle charge 4 batteries and
only
desulphate one battery at a time.

Since the desulphation mode is what we are after, we can let
any charger keep the bank up while the BM does its magic?
As a test, I am running the BM and the house charger at the same time.
The BM did not blow-up or get hot, and the flashing pulse
indicator light is still binking- so all appears well.

And yes, several weeks are needed to to bring back the dead!
I find that discharging the battery a couple of times during this
polishing period speeds up the process.

New batteries only need a few days pulsing to increase their capacity
above that stated on their rating label.
