Yo Everybody,
I know I'm over the average in owning mine since August 1986, and I'm going
to go out on a limb and say that I bet there are significant "bumps" in the
continuum of ownership on this list. There is probably a grouping in the
3-year average range and another grouping farther along. I was just
thinking that I got to know the CALYPSO really well at about the five year
point what with having painted, varnished, or fixed everything (it was 19
years old then) at least once. This fine group of people has pushed me into
a couple realms I had not fully explored the first time around. Now, as I
rip out and remodel about 1/2 of the interior, I think I REALLY know the
boat well - and don't know a heck of a lot on a lot of related topics. So
how about the rest of you guys; lurkers, pontificators, prognosticators,
prevaricators, sea story tellers (hey, Paul, what's the diff in a sea story
and a fairy tale?), mechanics, satanics, captains, and admirals? The world
wonders. I'd be willing to collate and calculate, if I get enough
responses - just give it to me in years and tenths, thanks.
