Subject: TWL: Folding bikes

Hello All,
Belatedly, I wanted to say that we bought the Dahon folding bikes, blue
ones, and keep them in a simple canvas covered box on the boat deck. We
use them almost every time we get off the boat. They are great for
exploring further than you can get on foot. Also great for getting to the
grocery and laundry, if you have backpacks. Sometimes several trips are
necessary, but that is better than dirty and hungry. Also they are great
just for getting some exercise. A good tip is to take AAA maps of the area
that you are boating in so that you can see how to plan bike trips to see
the local sights w/o much backtracking.
