I thought I would chip in my 2 cents here.
We bought Dahon folding stainless bikes on sale at Boat US for $299
each.
They have large 21" wheels, 5 gears and fold in small package in about 2
mins.
Several other cruisers have used them and speak well of them.
We will be using them on our Great Loop cruise and can report further
about them
