I am delighted to read that Arild is having
success with his testing of pulse de-sulphators.

I bought one of the little BatteryMINDer units
several months back and have had great success
with increased acceptance rates.

Some of the others guys on the post are even
collecting junked batteries just to de-sulphate
them as a form of odd entertainment!

Arild - could you explain in lay terms how
this pulsing/plate polishing works?
And because it really works, why are the units
not available at West Marine or Wal-Mart? Somebody
is missing the boat on this.

Speaking of boats:

The boat next to me is a 34 Mainship sedan with
a new Cummins. With the cold weather he could
not get it to crank over fast enough to start.

I lent him my BM and he said that he would leave
in on the 8D unitl the next weekend (6 days)
even though he told me it is most likely "Snake Oil"
and just another one of my wacko ideas!

To his surprise, the Cummins spun over like it
was connected to 24 Volts! Now he wants
to keep my "Snake Oil".

I wish Arild could figure out a way to include
a pulser chip in one of his high quality Zantrex
charger/inverters? I will buy the first one!
