Having been a sailor in keel boats for over 17 years and now a trawler
crawler for 10 years, I think one of the big difference is in the
predictability of arrival and ability to plan cruising destinations more
accurately. From the flybridge the view of where ever is far superior
to the cockpit and I enjoy navigation and find I can spend more time on
the bridge playing at navigation than I did in the cockpit.
My wife enjoys living on the first floor, instead of in the basement
apartment as you do in a sailboat.
Just a few quick thoughts.
