    I like the Krogen solution better. They use an "off" standard mains
    receptacle for the 12-volts. The receptacle has two blades, like a north
    American one, but one of the blades is turned perpendicular to the other
    one. I've travelled all over the world and have never seen this plug
    pattern elsewhere...beats me where it is "standard". Anyway, it has the
    same look and boxes and wiring requirements as a standard 120-volt
    receptacle, so it does not look out of place. It is impossible to put the
    wrong plug in the wrong hole. I already have them aboard and have a bunch
    of spare plugs, so I don't know where you could buy them; presumably Krogen
    would sell you all you wanted.
