    I've received a number of requests (well, two, actually) for elucidation on
    the dive plane design. So I did up a sketch:

    Remember, this isn't rocket science here. Just sort of use what's available
    for the plane, like 1/2" ply. The handles are a bit more problematic, in
    that there's a fair bit of force being placed on your hands from the drag of
    the water. Ski pole grips are fabulous, but 1/2" PVC pipe nipples would be
    my first choice for those that just want to go to the store and be done with
    it. Some sort of snap fitting to clip the bridle on and off the tow rope is
    a convenient feature.

    Be careful about looking too far sideways, as your mask can get ripped off.
    With some practice, you can practically broach coming up from a deep dive!
