We just purchased a pair of the SpyderCo "Snap-On" marine knives to complete
our CGAux PFD requirements. These have a built in clip to connect to the
PFD and were made for that purpose. These cost about $40.00 each. Unlike
some of the other uses for knives as reported on this list, these will be a
permanently attached fixture as part of the CGAux / CG requirements for the
PFD "kit".
I have not used these in earnest yet but we will practice with them a bit to
insure we can get them unsnapped and work the with one hand.
