    Depending on how long it takes for your port side to react and be consumed,
    it sounds like your starboard zinc does not have proper electrolytic contact
    with the cathode being protected.
    Look for broken wires on the inside of the hull, or corroded and/or bad
    connections between the bonding wire and the anode (zinc).
    Use an Ohms meter to check the continuity (between bonding wire and anode),
    looking for no resistance.
