    John,
In our bed room, ok stateroom I mounted a tv as follows: Pur. a bass
boat seat swivel that is bolted to an existing shelf. To this is bolted
a piece of plywood , suitably finished in felt. I drilled 4 partial
holes in the plywood for the feet of the tv to sit. There are eye hooks
on each side of the plywood through which heavy nylon string is attached
and passed over the tv. The reason for the swivel is the tv may be
watched while in bed or dressing. It has been there for over 12 yrs.
     Real neat and cheap.
