I was a scuba diver for many years and have had boats with great swim
platforms trying to recover me in 5 to 8 foot seas and believe me, that is
extremely dangerous. The swim platform rises sometimes 6 to 8 feet in the
air and when it comes down you dont want to be under it. It can be done and
we did it but the timing is crucial to keep from being killed by the
platform.
