    Hi All,
Interesting to note some of the comments about the Forfjord anchors
especially from Dolph who has so much experience. He is correct they do have
small fluke area, especially the more recent ones. They are extremely strong.
I have a 150 lb. Forfjord that I set on all chain. In So. California
conditions, mostly offshore islands and coastal work. I have never had it
drag. Your first reaction is that with such a heavy anchor it shouldn't
drag, but keep in mind the boat is 55' and 80,000 lbs. My Forfjord seems to
have much larger flukes then some of the more recent versions. There is a
boat next to me at the marina that has two of them, but they are smaller
flukes and don't seem to have the Forfjord name on them. Mine is 30 years
old and has the word Forfjord in the casting. I'm happy with this anchor,
but maybe I have not encountered a bottom that it is to soft for it to hold
    properly.
