    Bruce,

We looked at a bunch of them before we bought AKAMA (Krogen 48 Whaleback).
There is something about the Defever 49 that we like. But, it is no
passagemaker. IMHO it is a very serious coastal cruiser though. Most of
the boats we saw had a range of about 800 miles or so. It's a hard chined
boat and the roll is a bit snappy, compared to a Krogen or a
Nordhavn...although the Nord 46 can be a bit snappy too, especially with
    full tanks.

    Good evening,

Does anyone have any information about Defever 49 Pilothouse trawlers?
How are they as sea boats? Range? Are they good long range
    passagemakers?

    Thanks.
