Hmmm -- I THOUGHT we were bleeding air, but we may have actually
INTRODUCED air when we broke a vaccuum, and then bled out that air
when we worked the lift pump -- based on what the other messages here
have suggested. (They seemed to suggest that air was unlikely, since
the engine will restart easily if I wait 15-20 minutes.)

For what it's worth, a single tank was providing fuel for both
engines during the test runs, since that's the way the new fuel
polishing system is configured. Since the port engine never
experienced this problem, I'm tentatively ruling out problems before
the fuel distribution manifold. And since the problem existed before
the fuel polishing system was installed, I'm also ruling out that part
of the system. The fuel filters attached to the engine were replaced
    recently as well.

Pumps and injectors are (I believe) original; everything has about
    2100 hours total time.

My starboard Lehman 120 shuts down after running 15 minutes or so at
1800+ RPM -- will run all day at 1500 or slower. It won't restart
unless I bleed the lines, OR wait for about 10-15 minutes.
    - -snip-
When you bleed the lines do you get air?
Hours on injector pump? Maybe time for rebuild (>6000 hours)
    Hours on injectors? (>4000 hours)
