Yes there is. Almost exactly the reverse except our plan costs about
$60(US) per month with Canada added for around $20 per month. (It was
one of the earlier plans last year and may be less money by now.) We saved a
bundle on last season's cruise up the Inside Passage to AK over the
phone bills in earlier years. In 1998 our cell phone bill was more than the fuel
bill for the entire trip.
