That's the link for the Benford Design Group. Their catalog includes the
"Florida Bay Coaster" line, numerous very salty looking tugs, a few ocean
crossers, and several boats inspired by the Washington State Ferry fleet
(they don't look quite as weird as that description implies).

Thanks, Alex, for adding Jay Benford to my list of links of metal boat
sources. He deserves to be on the list.

Interestingly enough, about the same time you were writing your comments, I
was admiring Benford's latest creation at Florida Bay Boat Works at
    <http://www.realships.com/42coaster/main.shtml>. What a great liveaboard
    floating office she would make!

Benford and Steve Seaton are the only genuine artists among the designers
drawing trawlers these days. Their boats are distinctive yet always
delightful to the eye. Seaton, especially, produces the sweetest lines.

Why some people will spend a million bucks on ugly boats is beyond my
    understanding.
