Thanks to the weather gods or perhaps global warming, new years eve and day
were warm and balmy here on SF Bay.

We anchored at Clipper Cove (Treasure Island) for the celebration and
enjoyed a new years eve party aboard a large comfortable trawler with
friends before returning to our humble fish troller. Our 15 year old lab,
Chevy, enjoyed the left over chips and dip, but I didn't enjoy lifting her
on and off the boat -- old dogs don't hold it any better then old guys.

The cove was filled with an equal number of trawlers and sailboats. Judging
by the number of "serious" trawlers there, I bet at least one other list
    member was present.

    Wishing all a great 2001!!
