    Lo All,

    << I run a single Lehman 135 in my KK with a Racor 500, 2 micron preliminary
filter. The vacuum gage never gets off the pin even when the filter looks
     in need of changing. >>

I have found that if the fuel tanks are above the engines and the tanks are
full, the vacuum gauges usually read "0". As the fuel level drops to about
1/4 tank (about level with the engine fuel pump), the gauges start to
indicate something above zero. If the engines are sucking from the
centerline day tank located in the bilge, below the engines, the vacuum is
about 2-3 inches. The same general readings are true for the generator as
well. All readings taken with relatively clean Racor 1000 filters and Cummins
6BT5.9M engines at cruise RPMs and 8 KW Generator at nominal load, i.e., with
    air conditioners and inverter/charger running.
