    Bob,
       FWIW I'm pulling 1" through a Racor 500 with a new element at 1800 RPM
    with my 135 Lehman. Over 200 hours it went to 3".
       Are you measuring at an idle? At idle speed the needle is barely off the
    zero mark. Check your fuel vacum at normal cruise speed.
