Just a note:
Every spring Sears has a sale on golf cart batteries. I recall that the price
last year in our area was about $60 per battery. That's about $20 per battery
less expensive than at most marine outlets. If you use a lot of batteries,
that can make a difference. Each has a capacity of 125 AH at 6 volts. Bear in
mind that these batteries are almost 3 inches taller than an 8D and will
require a deeper battery box. We had to add a small riser to the upper rim of
our box to fit them in.
