My Lehman 120 creates 2 to 3 inches of vacuum when sucking through a Fram
and a Racor 500 (in series)with fairly new filters and at cruise speed of
2000 RPMs. I can force the vacuum to 10 inches by closing the tank valve
part way and the engine still runs fine - much over that point it starts to
    starve.

    Hi Bob,
    ......
What I'm getting at here is that you need to find out what other Lehman 120
owners have experienced with vacuum readings. If zero is normal, fine! If
everyone else is seeing the reading increase over time then you need to make
sure that your gauge is working properly and that the filter element is
intact and making a good seal with the filter body.

I'm sure there are lots of TWListees with Lehman 120's & 135's and some of
them must have vacuum gauges. Perhaps those who are so equipped could chime
    in with their experience.......
