Hi Listees,
I have 2 weeks at Christmas, when the kids are out of school, and plan to
cruise Ft.Lauderdale to Key West and Back. I need some opinions (of which I
know the list has none, Hah!).
1) Is it better to go down the East Coast of the Keys and back the West Side
or down the inside and back the outside?
2) Do you stay inside the reef or fight the Gulf Stream outside? Any
favorite spots to stay (I will not tell a soul other than the Zillion
subscribers to TWL who are all friends and would not divulge any secret
anchorages lest someone run a generator into the cocktail hour, but lets not
get into that one again).
I can go fast(20 knots) if needed but prefer the leisurely Trawler pace. Our
draft is 3.5 feet.
Oh yea, I better fly a TWL burgee to demonstrate my allegiance to the
trawler world even though my boat looks like a go fast it really isn't,
George where do I get a burgee?
