I have a 1980 Trawler with a 120 Lehman. I recently noticed that the primary
fuel filter (Racor 500) has some green looking algae in the upper bowl area.
I have a vac gauge attached to the filter which reads 0. I change the filter
every 100 hrs (twice a year). Is this a normal occurrence meaning the filter
is working or should the filter be rebuilt?

    Thanks
