    Joe, it is always best to add into the existing
    hydraulic steering system.
    I have an Albin 40 and my best friend has an Albin 36.
    We both had Roberts A20 autopilots installed and they
    are great.
    Best autopilot for the Albin.
    Easy to be installed.
