Hi All (especially Doug)

Not true. There is also NaviMaq (http://www.quintessence.com) and GPSy Pro
(http://www.gpsy.com). There are TW listees who use all these products,
including MaxSea, and all have given me favorable reports.

Apparently, as one big-time cruiser on this list uses it (on iMacs, BTW).

Get a RAM mount (http://www.rammount.com) with a polycarbonate shelf. Captn
Jack sells a ready-made one (http://www.capjack.com).
Also, as your Mac doesn't have any of that ancient technology (serial ports)
and all GPS's that I know of require one, you'll have to use an adapter
(Keyspan and Belkin both make them - I'd pick the Belkin) to input your GPS
signal.
If you need any more details, email us off list.
