    Hi Tom;

    I recently installed one of those devices on our Mainship 34 as my
    wife has multiple chemical sensitivities to include allergies to
    hydrocarbons. It seems to have reduced the fumes considerably as well
    as engine exhaust noise. Our boat is powered by a 210hp Cummins. But,
    we have had not soot problem either with or without the Salisbury
    device.

    The description in both the West Marine & Boat/US catalogues are in
    error in that the largest device can only support about 180hp if the
    engine is a turbo model; 210hp if a non-turbo (so says the guru at
    Salisbury).

    All the best,
